Rubber Regional Meeting in Luang Prabang, Laos
The atmosphere over the duration of the meeting was joyful, with the sharing of success stories and information during the product training sessions as well as the discussions regarding market and technology trends and our strategy going up towards 2025.
Innovation, not just in terms of product development but also on the strategy side, has been becoming increasingly important in the current business environment, with multiple factors contributing towards the volatility of the market, including trade wars, the strength of the dollar and Brexit. However, despite the uphill climb, new opportunities are also arising out of the changing landscape due to the rise of electric vehicles as well as the rapid adoption of digitalization in the business world, both of which present ample opportunities for our rubber division.
A team building exercise, called “BMazing Race”, was organised for the participants to explore Luang Prabang. The teams were given the goal to make the 300-step hike up Phousi Hill and make it to the top, where a 360-degree panoramic view of the city awaited them. Many photos were taken and good memories forged as the participants worked together as team members to overcome the challenges before them. With this spirit of collegiality and teamwork, we are confident in our abilities to continue serving our customers across the regions with excellence.
