Selling Skill Seminar with Malindo Indonesia

Building a positive relationship with customers and business partners is vital for a company to have long-lasting business success. Customers are more likely to stay with a company when there is a strong connection built on communication and trust that makes them feel safe and connected with the brand.

To share tips on strengthening relationships with our customers, Mr Teddy Candinegara, the Executive Sales Director of PT Behn Meyer Chemical, held a seminar on "Sales Skills for Salespeople" for various Malindo Group companies on 1 March 2023. This activity is an agenda arranged by the Malindo Group, our customer from the Animal Nutrition business unit. It aims to improve the competency of its employees, especially salespeople, and it was attended by 25 participants in total. 

Winning in today's digital age is no longer just about the products and services offered to customers but about understanding how customers make buying decisions. Salespeople must be able to identify customer buying perceptions to ensure a high closing rate and sales process efficiency. In this seminar, several tips were shared that can be used as provisions to be implemented in the daily activities of salespeople. One of these was SPIN selling, first introduced by Neil Rackham (1988). Although it seems dated, this technique is still very relevant to help salespeople identify customer problems and solutions that can be provided.

On this occasion, Mr Demas Dambo, National Senior General Manager of PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk, expressed his sincere appreciation to Behn Meyer for participating and sharing knowledge on sales skills, which is very beneficial for salespeople and companies.
