Behn Meyer AgriCare held a groundbreaking ceremony for its fertilizer plant on a 5 hectares site at Phu My, Vietnam on 5th April 2016. The event signifies the formation of a solid foundation to Behn Meyer AgriCare’s presence in Vietnam.
The fertilizer plant will be built in two phases with the first phase involving an 18,000 square metre factory that will cater for storage, re-packing, blending and other processing activities. The second phase will be implemented 3-4 years later and will see the creation of an NPK production facility.
Total capital investment will reach USD 25 million when both development phases have been completed.
