BM Animal Nutrition: 13 - 15 March 2019
Completing the Chain

Behn Meyer at VIV Asia 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand

From 13 to 15 March 2019, more than 1,250 international exhibitors and an estimated 50,000 professionals gathered at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) for VIV Asia 2019. Behn Meyer, along with our partners from Intracare, joined forces for the first time at this event at a booth that also featured Dr. Dirk Lorenz-Meyer, the Regional Director of Behn Meyer’s Animal Nutrition division, along with our other key partners, namely Penergetic from Switzerland, Alzchem from Germany as well as Azomite and UAH from the USA.

VIV Asia focuses on all animal species that make up the downstream meat production industry. In recent years, major steps forward have been taken by the industry, as evidenced by the theme of this year’s exhibition – food engineering, which aims to complete the food chain through a dedicated programme.

In line with the theme, Behn Meyer focused on showcasing our additives which are suitable replacements for antibiotics for both feed and farm applications. In a matter befitting the famous Thai hospitality, all our booth visitors were welcomed with mango sticky rice, the epitome of all Thai desserts, and also gifted special Penergetic wristbands that they could bring back. During the event, we were also honoured by a visit from the committee of the Thai Veterinary Medical Association under royal patronage, whose members were greeted by Dr. Dirk at our booth.

Together with our partners, we are glad to be able to meet the needs of so many of our customers with valuable products and solutions. We hope to continue sharing together to further develop our businesses and opportunities.
