After the award presentation, the Le Meridian hotel crews presented the attendees with a selection of Chinese delicacies to enjoy. From the appetising first course of Peking Duck Roll and Deep-Fried Almond Crab Claw, to the main course of Wok Fried Tiger Prawn, Steamed Grouper and Roasted Chicken, to the Red Bean Soup and Cheese Cake desserts, everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. Despite the scrumptious dishes on the table, the Directors were not glued to their seats as they moved from one table to another to greet their fellow colleagues and team members– some who came from North, East and South Malaysia.
In conjunction with Behn Meyer’s 182nd Anniversary which falls on 1st November 2022, a surprise cake-cutting ceremony also took place that evening. All present directors and several past directors of Behn Meyer Group of Companies Malaysia took the stage for a toast, wishing for the company’s continuous prosperity and longevity. In fact, many Yam Seng cheers (i.e. drink to victories) were heard that night from various tables.
