Behn Meyer opened a new office in the Philippines
We are pleased to inform you that as from Jan. 2011 our Behn Meyer (Philippines) Inc will be operational. This operation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Behn Meyer Chemical Holdings (S) Pte Ltd which is our Chemical Group holding company based in Singapore. This operation is fully licensed to import, store, distribute and sell industrial chemicals and we will have our own warehousing facilities in Manila as well. The warehousing and logistics facilities are envisaged to be available from early 2011 onwards to provide ground logistical support facilities to our customers as well as to our principals.

Our office address is as follows:

Behn Meyer (Philippines) Inc
17 San Miguel Avenue,
#1808 Hanston Square,
Ortigas Center, Pasig City,
Metro Manila,
The Republic of Philippines.

Fax Number: +63 2 477 6812

This operation will be headed by Dr. Tay Kin Bee, Chief Executive Officer, who is also concurrently the Chief Executive Officer of Behn Meyer Specialty Chemicals LLP Singapore. We are in the process of building up our local sales infrastructure network. As for the business sectors, initially we will be focusing on the Food Ingredients & Raw Materials, Animal Feed, Water Treatment, Process Industries, Paint & Ink, Petroleum and Petrochemicals Plants, Plastics and the Rubber sectors. As business opportunities and sales talent present themselves we will be expanding our business into other industrial chemical sectors as well.

We would be most glad to extend this marketing and logistics infrastructure & network to all our existing principals and suppliers in order to help promote mutual growth in this market. The Philippines, with its population of about 95 million, offers an exciting growth opportunity in the South East Asian market. The Philippine market, like many others, is not an easy one to penetrate and nor is it easy to gain a foothold. One of the key factors to success is undoubtedly finding reliable, trustworthy partners who are diligent in their work. We believe that these vitally important factors are the ones that we can offer to our principals and suppliers in order to build a successful partnership in the Philippine market. We are certainly looking forward to working with our existing principals and suppliers for the Philippine market - and to being your long-term partner in the Philippines as well.
