The International Palm Oil Congress and Exhibition (PIPOC) is a biennial event organised by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board to provide a strategic platform for interaction and in-depth deliberation on the many aspects related to the palm oil industry. This year, the event was organised from 19 – 21 November 2019 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The theme of the event this year was “Balancing Sustainability Pillars”, in line with the global push towards ecological, economical and societal sustainability. At our booth, Behn Meyer was proud to present some of our offerings for the local agriculture industry: Anchor-Bor and ESTA® Kieserite, which are able to improve yield per hectare and reduce the leach of nutrients into the soil, as well as our very own formulation IMPACT®, which has been greatly beneficial for the local oil palm industry.
Additionally, we also honoured to receive Mdm. Teresa Kok, Minister of Primary Industries Malaysia, as well as our partners K+S Kali and Compo Expert at our booth during the event. As we bring the year 2019 to a close, we are hoping for further growth and greater sustainability in 2020.
