Personal Care Regional Meeting in Da Nang, Vietnam

The Behn Meyer Personal Care team got together for a regional meeting from 22 – 24 August 2017 in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Sales staff representing seven South East Asian countries attended the meeting. Also joining them were Mr. Jerry Gew from Sasol as well as Mr. Daryl Birden from Haymankimia.

On the first day, Mr. Jerry Gew conducted a product training session on Sasol’s wax products. This was followed by a brainstorming session led by Mr. Daryl Birden on designing strategies in order to expand Haymankimia’s presence in South East Asia.

In the afternoon, representatives from each country presented facts and figures concerning the sales performance, the market situation and potential products to be introduced moving forward. Success stories were also shared to inspire and encourage one another.

The second day of the regional meeting continued with workshops, where representatives from each country elaborated on their strengths and key products. The session was a fruitful one, in which everyone learned from one another.

But all work and no play makes for a dull time together — and so on the last day, the whole team took the opportunity to visit Da Nang’s scenic spots such as Son Tra Mountain, the Marble Mountains and the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture. As the day faded into the evening, the team had a great time together on the beach with team building games.

Finally, as the sun set over the regional meeting, the team enjoyed a warm dinner together before departing the next day.

All in all, it was a very successful meeting. Everyone returned to their respective countries filled with energy and excitement to practice what they have learned from the workshops and discussions. We look forward to hearing more success stories from everyone again soon.
