Project Engineer - Water Treatment

Responsibilities
  • Complete engineering projects by organising and controlling project elements.
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements and reviewing bids from conntractors.
  • Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and performance standards.
  • Complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates.
  • Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time rerquirements and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
  • Control project plan by reviewing designs, specificaions and plans, scheduling changes and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Maintain project database by writing computer programmes and entering and backing up data.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • Work experience (minimum 5 years) in the water treatment or wastewater treatment industry.
  • Experience working on large manufacturing facilities, construction sites or engineering firms related to water or waste water treatment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and schedule software such as Primavera (P6).
