Technical Sales Manager – Animal Nutrition

  • Professionally identify and demonstrate industry-relevant solutions and products to target customers.
  • Implement business plans and execute sales to target customers.
  • Organise and participate in technical conferences, talks, seminars, exhibitions and workshops related to the field.
  • Coordinate lab service offerings and other relevant offerings.
  • Submit monthly project reports and activity plans to the reporting managers.
  • Act as technical lead backed by statistical inputs based on current and potential growth in the field.
  • Collate and prepare regular updates on customers, products and competitors.
  • Identify target key accounts and develop clear sales development plans.
  • Conduct quarterly product and technical training sessions for sales personnel as well as customers.
  • Support the regional product development and penetration efforts of the business division measurable by sales and budget achievements.
  • Constructively develop and manage customer relations through providing technical support and site visits.
  • Maintain strong long-term relationships with established clients and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Educational background in animal science or  veterinarian disciplines.
  • Working experience as a technical salesperson (minimum 5 years).
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial business sense and drive.
  • Technical knowledge and communication skills to clearly explain specialty products.
  • Possess a good attitude and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to commit and work with a team.
  • Able to travel.
