Sales Executive / Segment Mananger – Food Ingredients

Responsibilities
  • Constructively handle and supervise sales activities, daily operations, complaints and returns within the assigned geographic area. 
  • Determins customers' needs and desires by specifying research needed to obtain market information and follow through.  
  • Develop products by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, production timetables, pricing and time-integrated plans for product introduction and developing the marketing strategies for it.
  • Lead, manage and coordinate with colleagues on all sales activities and development matters.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate inventory turnover and product availability updates by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules during monthly updates and inventory management forecasts.
  • Draft budgets and manage future trends to ensure goals are realized. 
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Science.
  • Required skill(s): sales and communication. 
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English.
  • Working experience (minimum 5 years) within the food industry.
  • Must be able to work independently and under pressure while meeting quotas.
  • Must be willing to work in assigned geographic area.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel extensively to Southern Malaysia and occasionally to Central Malaysia, as well as overseas for meetings and trainings.
