  • Promote the company's products and services to feedmills and the farming industry.
  • Identify potential customers, plan technical visits and conduct meetings to offer the company's solutions.
  • Execute the given business plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Organise customer visitation schedule.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and meetings with prospective customers.
  • Establish healthy customer and supplier relationships, prividing prompt and effective service when attending to their inquiries.
  • Maintain customers' confidence in the good reputation of Behn Meyer and its products and services.
  • Conduct regular farm visits and supervise product trials, coordinate lab services and other relevant services in the industry.
  • Expand and increase the prospective customer base and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit monthly businness development project reports, providing a detailed market overview, highlighting customer issues, updates on the competition and providing realistic sales forecasts.
  • Act as the technical lead and develop a good understanding on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
  • Travel outstation extensively on a weekly basis to cover the farms segment.
  • Increase the company's product sales measurable by monthly sales quantities, gross profits and yearly sales budget achievements.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science or any scientific discipline.
  • Working experience (minimum 5 years) within the livestock or aquaculture industry.
