Responsibilities
- Map out the water treatment sector in Malaysia
- Support the regional product development efforts of Behn Meyer Water Treatment
- Develop and manage customer relations with technical support at customer's site
- Develop business for chemicals in industrial and municipal waste water applications
- Conduct trials with our products for industrial and municipal waste water, municipal water
- Develop new products for water treatment in a regional team
- Promote superior water treatment products in Malaysia
- Bring in existing customer relationships
- Establish new customer relationships in industrial and municipal waste water sectors
- Consult existing and new customers
- Conclude sales
Requirements
- Educational background in chemistry or related field
- Work experience in water treatment ( >5 years)
- Work experience as technical sales person in the field of water treatment (3-5 years) with excellent sales track record
- Entrepreneurial business sense and drive
- Own network of contacts and customer relations within water treatment industries
- Technical skill to explain specialty products
- Service mind & customer focus
- Attitude of team work & learning
- Ability to travel
- Highest level of integrity
- Self-starting with independent work organization
The regional aspects of the position require traveling and networking within SEA. The HQ of Behn Meyer in Malaysia is located in Subang Jaya.
