Authorized distributor Agreement (Performance Chemicals Division)
25 June 2010 - Behn Meyer Specialty Chemical Sdn. Bhd. signed a Distribution Agreement with Evonik Goldschmidt GmbH on the 17/05/2010 to supply Tegostab, Kosmos, Tegoamin, Ortegols and other processing additives in Vietnam. After 16 years of development for the PU industry we have gained 60% market share.
In June 2010, two other agencies were signed: Rehau and Huntsman.
Rehau appointed Behn Meyer Vietnam to distribute Rehau Raubioxon Plus and Raubioflex Advanced Aeration systems. The distributor agreement will be in force for three years and will be automatically extended annually. The products are applying mainly for the waste water treatment industry. Rehau is a German supplier and products can be tailor made for individual customer requirements. In order to introduce the product more effectively, seminars/ regular visits will be organized every 2 months. The first training had been hold on 4th June for both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh offices. With the Rehau equipment, Behn Meyer Vietnam now provides a complete treatment system for waste water.
Huntsman agreed Behn Meyer Vietnam and Behn Meyer Indonesia to be their agents for the Amines range. The products are used in the gas treating unit for the petroleum and petrochemical industry. Behn Meyer Vietnam had been developing the products range for 2 years and had won a first contract for the first refinery in Vietnam (Binh Son Refinery). Huntsman had been ranging as top 3 in the gas treating market. In order to introduce the product more effectively, a seminar will be organized on June 28th in Singapore for both Behn Meyer Vietnam and Behn Meyer Indonesia.
