Since the founding of Behn Meyer in 1840, exports have played a vital role. In the early days, spices and produce were shipped from South East Asia to Europe. This tradition has been carried on, but today’s exports are much more diversified and include an increasingly wider range of manufactures and commodities. Over the past several years, the Export Division in Malaysia has grown substantially, and is now professionally staffed with experienced traders and equipped with the latest trading and communication systems to expedite transactions. Behn Meyer Europe has a long history in trading. We are active as a distributor, agent, and international trader. And we provide customers, on a worldwide basis, with efficient service and quality chemical products.
Our main export markets are in Asia, South America and the Caribbean, where we serve customers via sister companies, appointed agents, as well as on a direct basis. But our activities are not limited to these regions. We maintain and invite business relationships with customers in other parts of the world too.
We are acting not only as exporters from Europe but also as an intermediary between producers in Asia and customers in South America and the Caribbean.
