1 January 2010 - Behn Meyer Europe GmbH (BME) was appointed agent for all product lines of DARMEX SACIFI, Buenos Aires, Argentina. BME acts as sole representative for the territory of Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, and exclusively for the tire manufacturing plants of “Continental AG” located in Europe.
Darmex S.A.C.I.F.I. established in 1971, is producing tire chemicals, bladders and products for the process industries.
Tire chemicals encompass lubricant solutions and paints, e.g. inside tire release agents, outside tire blemishes, bladder coatings, mould release agents, tire identification paints, cosmetic paints, white sidewall protection paints, Batch off Agents. Darmex is a leading producer of these products with an estimated global market share of 16%.
Bladders are produced for all usual kinds of presses (BOM, Krupp, etc.) and green tire types (Autoform, Barrel, Toroidal). The combination of high-quality production processes, bladder coating, and compound know-how, is key for superior bladder quality, and the constantly increasing market share of currently 8% globally.
The Customers of DARMEX S.A.C.I.F.I. are major tire producers, e.g. Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Dunlop, Hankook, Yokohama, Kumho, just to mention a few. DARMEX S.A.C.I.F.I. is a global player, distributing on all continents.
Dr. Joachim Bertrand, Key Account manager and responsible for the tire industry at BME, is going to visit DARMEX in April 2010 to attend a training and hear about the latest developments.
