Behn Meyer Malaysia offers a broad range of products for the rubber industry. Synthetic rubber, such as SBR, BR, NBR, EPDM, Butyl & Halobutyl, as well as synthetic latices, are keys in the product portfolio.
Behn Meyer is actively involved in the sales of curing agents, e.g. accelerators from Flexsys as well as fillers like precipitated silica and nano cc.
Rubber chemicals such as antioxidants and specialities additives from Chemtura as well as flame retardant are all provided by Behn Meyer and find their application in various industries.
Release agents and processing aids such as lubricants, tackifiers, homogeniser, dispersing agents, peptizer and plasticiser are all produced by Performance Additives, Member of the Behn Meyer Group.
For the latex industry, Behn Meyer Polymers Manufacturing Sdn.Bhd. produces custom made dispersions such as curatives dispersions, TiO2, and other stearates dispersions for our customers to impart cost effectiveness in every manufacturing process. In addition, in the latex thread industry, Behn Meyer Malaysia supplies a key component, the ultra-fast accelerator, Hepteen Base; this is a signature product from Chemtura, which is best used for latex thread manufacturing, as an inevitable item in its compounds, to impart consistent quality of the latex thread produced.
In R&D, Behn Meyer’s own brand dispersion products, manufactured by Behn Meyer Polymers Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., will be further developed to enable excellent cost savings (effectiveness), and to incline towards environmental friendliness; this is the company’s challenge as well as a commitment to the industry.
